We are pleased to announce a new funding opportunity for MI Neighborhood 2.0 opening at 8 a.m. EST October 7.
If you applied in the first round, you must reapply to be considered for MIN 2.0. The documentation should be updated to reflect your current project proposal. We have approved, rejected, and/or canceled all MIN 1.0 applications as of October 6. Application content needs to be collected and retained at the agency level. No prior application is rolling over into the new funding opportunity and each region’s amounts have been adjusted. Refer to the MI Neighborhood page on the MSHDA website for all changes.
A virtual Q & A session on MIN 2.0 will be held on Teams from 2-3 p.m. Oct. 3, 2024, to review changes and learn more about the application process. Please mark your calendars and use the information below to participate.

Just as we are streamlining several programs under MI Neighborhood, we also are creating a one-stop mailbox for all of your neighborhood development inquiries. That means the MI Neighborhood mailbox is being transitioned to NDD@michigan.gov for all correspondence going forward. Our goal is to respond to all questions within three business days.
A Q&A reference document is posted online on the MI Neighborhood page on the MSHDA website. Please consult that document before submitting questions.
We will not be providing application content overviews and/or guidance prior to submission within IGX. Instead, you will receive a formal notification that project-specific guidance cannot be provided, and you will be redirected to the MIN web page reference materials.
Please direct IT access and/or technical issues to Loryn Smith (smithl124@michigan.gov) with a cc to the NDD@michigan.gov mailbox.
We hope you will consider reapplying to MIN 2.0 if your project is shovel ready and meets all eligibility standards
